Giant Monster Contest

The Giant Monster Contest begins March 1, 2008 and ends on July 1, 2009 11:59 EST.

It is an amateur filmmaker contest created by Jason Goldtrap. I am not affiliated with any production house, movie studio or fan organization or YouTube. I do this as a labor of love for the genre. The prizes given are very inexpensive. For an excellent example of filmmaking watch the video that inspired me, search YouTube for "Space Monster: Destroy Nashville." I am not affiliated with the maker of this film, he simply inspired me to create this contest.

Actually, the contest fizzled due to lack of interest. Even so, Frankenstein flattening Flanders sounds intriguing. (Note: I am referring to the monster in Toho's "Frankenstein Conquers the World."

Can Tokyo Japan be okay? I recently made a remake of Kong vs. Godzilla that takes place in Tokyo and it is considered to be better than the original one.

i think I'll make 1 and enter, unless the ones on my channel count. the monsters destroy army people and eachother, but not a city. check it out. tell me if any count. my personal faves are Monster! II and Rex vs. Robo-Collosus! I'm thinking about doing a Rex web show... hey, not a bad idea. But, check out my fils, tell me if they count, and if not, I'll make one that dose.
