  • @cody801420 Toronto took the best center and player available.

  • Fools.

  • @OnMy88Shit I could be wrong, but I don't expect Tyreke to be franchise player. His shot is terrible and he only shot 40.9 FG last season. It was quite common for other King's players to take big shots down the stretch of games last season. That doesn't mean I'm hating on Tyreke though. He can improve his shot and he has a bulky and quick frame like a Baby James. So he has potential. But I think he's ultimately going to be more comfortable as a 2nd or 3rd option and a play maker.

  • @FavreianVengeance Ellis does take away from Curry's numbers but so will Tyreke with Jimmer I expect.. no one can tell the future, but let's at least hope Jimmer turns out more like Curry than Redick..

  • @OnMy88Shit Curry is a much more fair comparison. Arguably Curry's a bit faster (though I did not think he was fast in college and he seems faster in the pros) and Jimmer has a bit more bulk for driving into the lane. But other than that they have very similar games and range. Curry is avg'g 18 pts 6 asts 4 rebs 1 1/2 stls in his first 2 seasons. But he is also deferring a lot to Ellis who was there with a big contract. MVP numbers? No. But there's still time.

  • @FavreianVengeance I didn't even realize I compared him to white guys only but I guess they're the best example of college stars who don't translate well to NBA players.. let's compare Jimmer to Stephen Curry then, fair comparison, no? Curry was amazing in college, carried a small college in similar fashion as what Fredette did at BYU.. not an MVP candidate by any stretch of the imagination..

  • @OnMy88Shit So you want to compare Jimmer to Reddick and Morrison even though they have different games just b/c they're white? Ammo was a slow footed small forward and Reddick was a skinny guard who had to come off screens to get his shot. Frankly though, Ammo was looking good in training camp yr 2 before he hit hurt his knee and Reddick eventually came on to be a serviceable role player/starting SG. But neither player is as quick and athletic heading to the pros as Jimmer.

  • @FavreianVengeance that doesn't mean a thing.. Adam Morrison put up 28 and 5 his senior year, JJ Redick broke countless records, it's not a guarantee good college players will do well in the NBA.. Jimmer was amazing, but realistically he's a limited NBA prospect and far from an MVP candidate..

  • @OnMy88Shit If Jimmer put up 25 and 8 and led a team to 55 wins do you think he wouldn't be an MVP candidate?

  • @FavreianVengeance I was gonna give a serious reply.. but MVP candidate.. LMAO
