@aminthemagician World of warcraft is an MMORPG, which stands for massivly multiplayer online role playing game. This game is an open world game,where you choose a class and race then play with other people. You level up your character and play however you want and whenever you want. There is no campaign or multiplayer like console games. World of warcraft is available only on pc and so far there are 4 expasions, Burning crusade, Wrath of the lich king and cataclysm. @Paxiphon Not accualy. WoW is based on it's own, Warcraft universe. But before blizzard made Warcraft 1, they asked the guys who made Warhammer to let their game be based on the Warhammer universe. They were rejected. lol.
