Incredible solo by Steve.Showing his creative spontaneity which Skynyrd needed a little bit more of. Ronnie and Steve were the dominant creative energy behind what could have unfolded...Not sayin' the others didnt do their part, but many great songs would have come out.. if not for fate...

@Southernborn761 yeah, i hear ya...he woulda had his iron in a few fires, but leave skynyrd?? i don't think so...he loved his fans to much and they would have protested so loudly he would have changed his mind on that one...but unfortunately, we'll never know which makes me sad thinking about it..but i DO agree by this song that steve could have handled vocal duties without any problems...sounded a lot like ronnie but with even a bit higher register. thank you for your insight brother.

@SDMFAnthony01 NO..... He was not going to quit. He was going to produce music and of course he would do a Skynyrd show when he wanted to. He wanted to stay closer to home. It is pretty common knowledge he was slated to produce Molly Hatchett's first album. He was very hands when it came to his music. He learned a lot in Muscle Shoals and working with the recording master Mr. Tom Dowd. Ronnie was always 3 or 4 steps ahead of where he was at. Thinking ahead. Making plans for later on downtheroad

Pô os caras podiam ter cantado em qualquer banda... Fico só pensando se não tivesse ocorrido esse maldito acidente aéreo...R.I.P. Gaine e Van Zant e todos os demais....

Regarding their schedule, my two brothers and I had tickets to see them in Roanoke, Va, sometime in late October or early November. Does anyone know what the exact date might have been? Not seeing them still stands as one of the biggest disappointments of my life.

this was like 1979 skynyrd was so bad thye still insisted on being filmd in black and white, many years after the invention of "color".

I really do believe had the wreck never happened and Steve joining the band, they'd still be playing today. Along with breathing new life into the boys he seems to have hada calming affect over them as well. Awesome video thanks for sharing.
