  • Poobokbok, sounds like you are a junior member somewhere. E-ONE has a perfect record when it comes to aerials. Not one tip over or structural failure since they have been building them. That includes, 100 midmounts, rear mounts, 75' or any for that matter. Grow up dude. An E-ONE is a premium truck. I can tell by your comments you don't have a clue about fire apparatus or manufacturers.

  • Again, I am taking someone that uses the phrase "suck ass" with a grain of salt. Again, you couldn't have been in the fire service for more than 6 mos to a year with that attitude. You are at the think you know everything attitude. You are a joke.

  • @CDB8939 i mean that we've been using these for ages wheras the US seem to be obsessed with huge ladder trucks.

  • @pyro999maniac . Actually the Boom Package is built in Finland not UK, and range from 32m to 112m. The Telescopic Rescue Ladder is only available up to 55 meters. Check out the Bronto Website. I find it the most versatile, practical & safe Aeriel Appliance in existance, and by far the safest way to bring down casualties from height. The Rescue Cage has a safe working load of 500kg.

  • umatched manouvrability? um yeah our British aerials are way better. this is basically a british Ladder mounted on an american truck...nothing new about it.

  • I heard Bronto broke a record for the highest Fire Apparatus Aerial Platform. A whopping 367 Feet(112 Meters). It's called the Bronto HLA F112. I'm suprised FDNY hasn't ordered ANY Bronto Skylifts. They could use them in a High-Rise fire.

  • the uk have had brontos for years so its not exactly new technology

  • I ride with 2 depts. one has E-One and the other pierce. E-Ones trucks are very nice. we have had a couple problems with our bronto. The Generator took a dump on us and the boom is picky in which way it wants to go. These are VERY maneuverable if you have an experienced operator in the bucket. We have done some crazy rescues with this truck. Ours was July of 05 or 04 I think on the e One calender. That was staged for the shot but we have done some sweet stuff with it. I love pierce too.

  • @lin1920522514 a lot. ours was just shy of 1m

  • Jesus. Lke a crane with lights and sirens.

  • @lin1920522514 about a million bucks

  • how much per this truck?
