Connex wasnt as bad as everyone thinks, sometimes when I was going from Lalor to Preston everyday from 2001 - 2006 I experienced a reasonable service, I'm yet to know what the new Metro Service will be like from Sunbury when it is finished sometime this year and from next year, it claims to gain more trains from Sunbury, it be superb don't have to switch trains, at North Melbourne or Footscray from the Loop, it be great to go from Subury and have access to the loop.

The biggest mistake they did was to change the seats in the comeng trains, to the crappy smaller seating they could have just replaced the covers of the old seats.
Connex was utterly always having problems, thoughout my college years I used connex trains, lets all go back to the government to run the trains, I never switched to myki until last year, but over time I'm gaining my faith and trust in myki.

l worked for Connex in England-they were a shit firm.Badly maintained trains and piss-poor planning.The new trains they ordered couldn't run at first,as they drew too much power.When they did eventually get them going,it wasn't long before the loos were all knackered and overflowing,all the normal things for them.The new lot was no better,as it was run by the same managers!

2:51 of course the trains are packed.. MTM cant change that!! They cant run trains every 30 seconds.. goshh. i think connex were good based on my time in Melbourne.

Years of neglect which started as a result of a liberal party government privitising the rail system Mr. Bailleu. Have a look at your past party's governments actions in regards to rail and then comment.
