This is a video of me playing a cover of Ghost Riders In The Sky for "Hot Summer Nights" in Riggins, ID. The quality of the video/sound is marginal, but hey, it was my Mom's first time behind a camera (Thanks Mom!). There are a few little technical snafu's, but in general it went well and everyone seemed to have a good time! The studio version of this song can be purchased on my CD Andy Browning - "Roll The Dice" on DigStation.com, CD Baby, and soon on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, and several others.

  • Would have been better if you had wearing cowboy boots. I would also suggest recording it in a studio if you ever get a chance, great version. What kind of guitar is that? And where did you get that hat?!

  • Yep, you're right. Boots would have been better except for the fact that it was bout 105 that day and one more piece of clothing sounded HORRIBLE! :-) I am going to be releasing it on CD in the next few months...and it's WAY better. The hat has been passed down through my family, but came from West Virginia. The guitar is a Taylor 714bce 25th anniversary comm. ed. Thanks for listening!

  • I have since released a CD with this song on it. It's available on CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes, and a few others. The CD is called "Roll The Dice", by Andy Browning.

  • hey i live in riggins

  • This has been one of my favorite songs since I was really young. I remember, my Mom bought the sheet music for me so I could play it on the piano. You sound amazing, beautiful voice and very entertaining to watch. What talent!! Thank you.

  • Thank you. I love playing that song live. The crowd always gets into it!

  • whoa! I can feel your enthusiasm from here....over the ocean!

greetings from a country fan from Germany. please upload your CD version, too, when it's ready. Because I build a collection of different versions of "Ghost riders in the sky" on my Youtube channel.

    P.S. and Merry X-Mas!
