If it hadn't been icing, this hit is fine. But the NHL added a rule this year outlawing a hit with no intention to play the puck on an icing situation. THAT is why this is a dirty hit--Marleau is supposed to be allowed to race for the puck without worrying about this happening.

Whose team sucks at playing hockey? They had Gretzky. They had Blake. They have Brown and Frolov. Still no Stanley Cup, and they've been here since 1967, and the Sharks have been here since 91. The Sharks have a new coach, no more Ron Wilson bullshit in the playoffs. They're still in first even with 9 players on the injured list.
