Evans does not teach that "carnal Christians" will overcome. Read his teaching on the carnal Christian wherein he plainly declares that one may live and die in the grossest of sin and even Christ rejection and still be welcomed into paradise.

@defendingthegospel1 You don't make any sense. You seem to conterdict yourself by what you say. Maybe Satan is twisting your hearing. Because Dr. Tony Evans does not believe that practicing homosexuals will go to Heaven. There is a difference. A born again Christian can still have tendencees or temptations, but by the power of God in their life they will overcome that. Read James, Read 1 John. Read the Bible through God's eyes and understanding instead of your own.

The scriptures.
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 6:9-10
"Abusers of themselves with mankind" literally means "sodomites."
Also, this verse excludes fornicators and effeminate which would include gays.

Dr. Evans teaches an all-inclusive, false gospel. Evans writes:
"Nobody is born a drug addict or a homosexual. Christians may be performing in these unacceptable ways, but that's not who they are. It's an identity issue." - Tony Evans, Free At Last
Because of Evans' extreme imputed righteousness, eternal security and carnal Christian views he plainly states that such "homosexual Christians" will be saved.
