Summing up the Dirt devil

nearing completion of my very own dirt devil, its taken a lot of work and lengthening of the budget but it is well worth the work i put in to get it to the stage that it is now

@Dsamuelhs that part was the previouse sprocket holder which kept the sprocket on the rear axle, i just cut it down and welded it onto the new sprocket

hey man how much did it cost to make your go kart without the cost of the engine?

(i'm building the same one)

@leaperd27 well the box section i was using the for the chassis was 20mm x 20mm and got 21metres of that which was roughly £30 - £40 , Seat and rear spring was free from a local scrap yard, set of wheels £100 from a tractor, front springs were £16 on ebay, clutch was £40 but bought it in from america, sprocket and chain came to around £20 and the rest of the supplies i got from my college including the rear axle which was off a sports go kart. reply if you need more help/advise and good luck:)
