I didn't see where the question of lineage came up here. I do agree with you that some people get pretty silly about that- Especially those that think that only people with Arab lineage can belly dance!

@firestonemagic bollywood dancers are from india and their dance type is much different, bellydancing is what ur seeing up there, which is arabic :D just clarifying.

@blaint09 Honestly, why does that even matter? She is herself, with her own style. And if you like her style, she teaches and has videos. I don't get why people get so concerned over background and lineage. You may have some valid reason for wanting know, though. Perhaps you are writing a biography or something?
