yes, then uncover to expose it, then recover to stop the hardening the emulsion until you spray it off.

This is really awesome!!! I'm glad you posted this because I've been wanting to start silk screen printing but I don't have a ton of money to spend. I just have one question. When you took the screen outside to expose it to light, did you cover it with the black paper first ?

What happens with the dry emulsion that lays beneath the design(ex.Bull`s) when it is exposed to sunlight.Does it leave it free from emulsion?

The exposure to light hardens the emulsion. The part that is protected from light stays soft and you wash it off with a spray of water and a soft scrubbing sponge. My videos are incomplete like all other screen print videos on YouTube. The whole process is basically, build a frame and screen, make artwork on clear sheet with your inkjet, coat screen with emulsion, lay artwork on screen, expose to light,wash emulsion off, and print.
