The school system in the united states does not teach kids about money. Where it comes from, what it is, and how to manage it. They don't learn enough about inflation, good debt vs. bad, and taxes. Here are a couple good books that teach kids about the economy as well as how money operates.

if you want to know how sadistic and sick the public school system is, just do this: Remember. Remember getting dragged out of bed. Put on a bus with strangers. Sitting in miltary-style rows with bells going off. Dealing with cliques. Bullies. Judgment, competition, shame, being graded on learning fuckin FACTOIDS. The shit is sick and needs to be abolished.
