In parkour, tacs, or tic tacs, are when a person kicks off of a wall or object to help them get on top of another object. Approach an object at a 45 degree angle to perform a tac in parkour with help from a member of a parkour organization in this free video on parkour techniques.

  • I like the video, but your explanation ("using some surface to help you do something else") seems a little unclear.

A tac is just when you step off an object to change direction.

So I'm running full speed, see a wall or box, do a tac off it, and now that kinetic energy is used to push me in a different direction.

Other than that, I like it. Happy training!
