@MrMyu151 fact: naw screw is, give me proof that it is better, give me three sources for your statement. i am a baseball player for my highschool id pick it over softball, but im not trashing softball either.
@cartmanj24 thats not true. im not saying that guys have or dont have a future with baseball but a lot of the girls DO! because they have olympic teams for softball they have the womens college world series its not in Omaha Nebraska i dont think. i cant remember where it is, but if they didnt have a future then why do they have that? because its a popular sport. not as popular as baseball but it is very succesfull.
@cutegirl00179 haha you dont know that. im not being sexist or anything but by the comment you left i saw that you dont know the teams and you dont know baseball. im saying that the guys would probably win because they pitch 80-90 mph and the girls pitch 60-70. again im not being sexist im just saying dont take offense to what we as guys say just go out and enjoy your sport, play it hard and hustle your hardest. dont cuss the guys out, just let them think what they want. you love softball.
why are the girls complaining about the guys getting all that stuff. why dont they just stop complaining and go get it themselves. also if they can do anything a guy can do then try hitting a 95 mph baseball after practicing 60-70 mph softballs. try hitting a screwball or a raabe riddler (thats a pitch from my dads old town team baseball legue. family named pitch)
Now, let’s see if any of you doubters out there can find a "baseball" pitcher to equal this record, 162 scoreless innings (or the equivalent of 23 games), again by a "softball" pitcher. I am a proud father of softball players, and I would have had the same thought until I saw these girls play…now I’m a believer. As for you Diamondduster the reason why there are two sport is because of what the girls say “If softball was so easy, it would have been called baseball”.
Back when most of you were just a thought, the "Wide World of Sports" had a segment on Baseball vs. Softball. The hitter for you young men was Reggie Jackson...."Mr. October", ring a bell. The pitcher was a college athlete who struck him out three times. Remember Babe Ruth?, I’m sure you do! He was struck out by Jackie Mitchell, another "softball" pitcher. Well maybe you know this name....Ted Williams.....yup, also struck out by another "softball" pitcher named Joan Joyce.
