wunderbar, diesen großen Pianisten mal mit Schubert zu hören. Es muss fantastisch sein, was sich in seinem Kopf abspielt. Ich denke, er ist eines der grossen genies zur Zeit.

... the pianist which has arguably accomplished the highest level of piano technique of all times is playing Schubert - and fails. as in his late beethoven, a certain lack of tension and emotional uninvolvement is evident - just listen to his octave-etude in the execution at 4:06 . by the way: MAH is the most down-to-earth artist of this calibre I ever met and I admire him very much!
