@TheSwissman29 Go to Showboat Records or The Lynn Anderson Show ands ee what all she has done from 1980 to the present. Froms songs like Martha to a recently released cd Bluegrass Sessions and others. They are also available there still. I've got them, they're great. She is currently working on 2 more cd releases.

@ChicagoSouthDan No it wasn't a mistake. There was a lot of worksessions and time to make this song with her own stamp on it. ------ She likes the drifter's version of it, too.

I don't care for The Drifter's or Bette Midler's version; I don't even like Bruce Willis's version, which my partner really likes, as much as I like this one.

@hinshawbaker Absolutely not. The line is: "We'll be out of the sun." She sang "We'll be out on the sand", which does not rhyme with the next line "We'll be havin' some fun." She did it twice, so it was not a mistake. I don't know why she changed the line to something that does not rhyme and is not as good. Otherwise, she was all right, but nothing to get excited about, and certainly not the best version of the song. I still think the original version by the Drifters is still the best.
