Many of the things you spend money on aren't as necessary as you think. Cutting them could save you hundreds of dollars.

my thoughts exactly. My wife and I just bought a sailing yacht which we are moving onto in 3 weeks. No more cable TV for us, thank god. We are selling everything including our cars and house and saying goodbye to nearly all of our stuff. The benefit? We get to travel the world for very little money as we please for as long as we wish. You can't put a price on that. Having too much stuff is a burden. It prevents you from living life truly free.

Right on that the gov borrow money your children haven't earned yet to give to bankrupt banksters, who write off trillions in debt that they created out of thin air in the first place, so that they can continue to ruin the creativity of the economy and live as effervescent emperors above the law while your generations scrimp and scrape like a pestilent serfs?

Studies have shown that your average bottled water is not even regulated, so they just basically put in tap. Furthermore, the plastic containers have endocrine disrupting chemicals in them. I avoid a lot of plastics. Use glass or stainless steel.

It's not like the insipid material possessions people have are just going to evaporate. Their mindsets must be deranged, while simultaneously striving to reach economic equilibrium posthaste. Not gonna happen though.

What one must realize is that prosperity is seen as a right in this day and age, not something to strive for. This is why so many things are viewed as necessary. Socialism has removed the idea of individual merit and replaced it with the idea of equal mediocrity under the law and enforced by taxation of those who do prosper. Socialism is to blame for these problems and should be discouraged while prosperity and growth should be sought through Capitalism. Greed is in the socialist elites mindset.

A gaming computer, internet, cell phone, and pellet rifle (for rabbits and target shooting and such!) will be my luxuries for a while.

Good thoughs. One note on bottled water. The reason people choose it is often to avoid the mass medication of fluoride in tap water. Although not all places fluoridate, there are also other chemicals that have been found in drinking water, which may cause concern.
