  • Something I eventually came to realize about exits and spins. It really isnt an art. It is merely a matter of assuming a good tight L bend at the hips with legs rigid and together, hands on the reserve with elbows held tight to body, chin down on the chest. If you walk out the door with left leg first on a left door exit, you nail this right everytime and there are no spins. Your body will rotate 90 degrees, back to the slipstream. Hold the position in the count. Works everytime for me.

  • never saw that quick exit so far, nice in 10 secs

  • except if its a simulated combat jump where u r heavy withequiment and all, i havent had experienced a bad exit. the rule is jump up and out feet togther, head tucked in elbows clipped and ur body looks like a shrimp fresh out of the water and ur safe! i have 71 jumps to my credit while in the special forces group in the afp. out of the 71i only had 7 static jumps and all the rest were free fall!

  • AATW!

  • @tmallow2004 Also the jumper MUST ensure there are not twists in thier static line. A 1/2 twist in the static line equals 1 full twist of the parachute during it's deployment.
