An excerpt from Phyllis Tickle's message on May 3, 2009 at Mars Hill. The message was "A Treasure We Do Not Understand." This excerpt indicates she holds to a Roman Catholic understanding of the Lord's Table (transubstantiation). She also expresses receiving communion in terms that sound more like Eastern Mysticism than the biblical doctrine of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
I suspect that Ms. Tickle is referring to the "Real Presence" of Christ in the sacrament of Holy Communion and to the real presence of the Holy Spirit within the each baptized believer. I can concede that she may have said something that is contrary to (some) Protestants' beliefs, but what she said also has a strong Scriptural and traditional basis within the Christian faith.

It doesn't sound to me like she's saying she is God. It sounds to me like she's saying that the spirit of God/Christ indwelling her partakes of Himself--spirit communing with spirit--in the communion.
