@darkram13 I got that it was a quote from the Manhattan project... I didn't see the connection though... in fact, I still don't. Is it because they realized their creation of the weapon they had been pursuing had turned them into monsters because of how devastating it was, and Tim had a moment where he realized his obsession with finding the Princess had turned him into a monster too?

while braid didn't touch me emotionally, just philosophically, i admit crying in the end of mother 3. I need to play mgs4 and shadow of the colossus. if only i had a ps3 and my ps2 hadn't stopped working...

@darkram13 Of course I didn't. It makes very little sense and is convoluted. It's an original idea but of course completely irrelevant.

I love this game so much. That ending truely broke my heart. To be so focused and pursue something that we may lose the greatness we already had within our grasp.

Okay, I want honesty here:
Thumbs Up if you DIDN'T catch the "We are all sons of bitches" parallel until AFTER reading about it later. I know I was a bit baffled my first playthrough.

Sometimes, we feel we are the hero In pursuit to save the one we love. To live happily ever after. In the end? We learn that we may be the ones who drove them away. Though we feel our passion, we don't see our madness.
The end was gut-wrenching to me. His calm face contrasted with desire and frustration. I almost heard Tim yelling in pursuit: "DON'T YOU SEE THAT I LOVE YOU?!","GET BACK HERE!","YOU'RE MAKING A MISTAKE!".
Perhaps love is a driving factor behind insanity.
