Darren supported Boyzone on their first tour as a solo artist but isn't and never has been part of Boyzone. They are still good friends. His career for the years prior to The High Kings saw him on Broadway and major US tours with Riverdance and then as the lead Pianoman in the Joel/Tharp musical Movin' Out each for over 3 years. He has continued with his solo projects and songwriting throughout.
