We miss you Karen. Your beautiful smile, your warm personality, and your amazing God given talent that we were fortunate enough to see on our tv all the time when we were children.

Wow. I never ever knew Karen Carpenter had that kind of drumming talent. We all know what a great singer she was, but not this... I have no idea how I never knew this.

I've read that she was way more happier behind the drums than only being the lead singer upfront. Now I can see why.

Who would have thought that Voice of hers was not only a bless but a curse also. She would have earned her fame by being a fine drummer alone. Supposedly still kicking ass with her many talents. Such a pity...

speaking as a drummer of 30 years karen is surely the most underated drummer of the 20th century ....truley awsome talent and beautifull voice .

This is such a cool video - thank you for making it. I always thought Karen just played basic beats but after watching this, I see she played back beats, major bass work, and ALL percussion - not just the kit ... all while she's singing! Very difficult to do. She's inspired me to start singing while I play. This was FUN to watch - thanks again!!!
