    False, both cars would have to hit at 120mph for this to happen, as there is twice the mass to absorb the energy.

    There is no such thing as added mass in this case. Crashing into a wall is different from crashing into another car, but not due to added mass, which is a property of a body moving through a fluid, but to differences in energy transfer between a fixed, stationery wall and a car as opposed to two cars. If it's added kinetic energy you're talking about, right, the wall has none, but the car has double what it would have if it was doing 60.
