Final Cut Pro X...a disaster!

Whoops, Apple really dropped the ball here...take a look at some reviews of Final Cut X...not good...that why out of the 554 rating on the app store thus far...266 of them are 1 star...almost half...amazing!

i spent a month learning fcpx only to start my first project. i was amazed how great and easy it is to learn. i was only more amazed by how buggy and crashy this program is.. i cannot edit smoothly ever. i've lost hours of work numerous times, so i gave up on doing any ttitles or transitions but just wanted to get my first project done. i've spent the last 4 days trying to figure out why fcpx cannot export my movie without leaving out half the video, and taking 2 hours at that.

I can see the DSLR market using this. They are in their millions out there, and pro cameras as well as prosumers will benefit from this

I shall wait for FCP X to be completed. Apple after the millions out there. I think they are onto something, even if they could have placed in a few features before release

Forget pro reviewers, they aren't running Apple. Think of it from Apple's viewpoint

I am an Adobe Premiere user and, seriously, I really feel for you guys. Often I thought of going towards Final Cut. Now I am glad I have not. I use the Adobe Suite and so often thought that why not just stick with Premiere since the same company makes Photoshop, which I use all the time, and After Effects, which I use all the time, and Illustrator...etc.... This looks like a complete disaster. Hope things work out for you guys. I really feel for you Final Cut users. This is horrible.

Agree 100%. FCP pro user since 3, its how I make my money. Im teaching FCP7 to others and my life and 15yr business career of professional post production is based off of apple, aja, and FCP. Worst thing ever is no longer can buy and or get updates for FCP7 and/or the entire Studio suite. Sad times come for PRO users and Apple. Adobe is looking real good right now.
