You just need to keep tapping O. The best thing to do is to get a coin or something and slide it as fast as you can over the O button.

That's what I do and it works.

you cant save meryll

and you can get the stealth camo when you finish the game...Otacon give you one at the end of the game

And if you save Meryl, she'll give you the bandana (Infinite ammo).

@YagamiXdead Ppl Are Lying, You Can Save Meryl. after the second round otacon comes and gives you a ketchup. when the guard goes to the bathroom crawl and use the ketchup. when the guard comes back he'll open the door cause he'll think you're dead. then there you can take your chance to escape. you can also hide under the bed. Hope this helped ;)
