I played this on my Atari back in the 80s. My version had a bonus area if you hit spacebar (smart bomb) as you've being sucked forward (when spider appears) you warp to a spiders nest. The game then looks like Asteroids. You shoot the walls away and touch a little space ship and you're back to the temptest-like grids.

Every time I played this game, I'd end up accidentally flipping my ship/gun so that I was shooting the wrong way. Then I'd get killed.
