  • roflmfao! Baaaaaaaaahahahhahahahahaha! That was fucking rich. I've never thought about that before. A normal person in that situation would be like 'well why the fuck are you so quiet? wtf do you have to hide?' This leads me to think what it must have been like when they were actually making this show to just have to sit there like bumps on a log for 2 to 3 minutes in awkward silences making weird faces at each other. I hope somone makes a video of a full show without the voice over.

  • I absolutely love this show and desperately want an OFFICIAL DVD release, but this is hilarious.

  • Hahaha the first time I watched this was directly after this scene

  • Earlier today was was wondering what it would sound like with out the voice narration.

  • Reminds me of the Garfield comics, minus Garfield. 95% is just John doing weird shit.

  • Haha i noticed that too

  • HAHA!

  • It's true that there's a lot of starting but there has to be time for good narration. You don't just want to pause all the time. Also, Wonder Years is probably closer to the speed of life than most shows. Most shows pretend that everyone always has a snappy comeback or whatever right on the spot. Real life is a lot of fumbling over your words.

  • wow, i never though about it that way!

  • I wish when they finally get to releasing the DVD, to make the narration an optional audio track.

  • LMFAO!!

  • This is great.

The only way they could have filmed this, getting the timing right, and without driving the actors crazy, is to have someone reading the narration on set. At least thats my take.

Truly awkward without the voice over. I too would watch the silent wonder years.
