Lightning Strike really Close while fishing

lightning strikes really close while were out fishing. the storm was really bad and lots of lightning but this is the best video i got. the waves were huge.

I may be wrong, but it looks fake. If it had actually hit the water then the water at the surface would have vaporized. Especially at the temperatures that lightning can reach.

@CandyGraham729 It's real, i slowed it down in the second replay so you can. look close and see the electronic distirburance with the camera. There is actually two bolts of Lighting in this video. One struck really close the other was a little bit behind that one closer to the shore.....

NOT fake, those were stepped leaders, which couldve easily provided a path to the main strike

@scubasteve97 There was only one lightning strike and it was pretty far away, probably on land. It only looks like two because of the way your camera captures video. You can tell because the two lines have exactly the same shape, only offset. If there had been a strike close to you, you'd hear the thunder at exactly the same time as the strike.

When i was young I was fishing off the beach with a group of people and was standing in the water up to my knees. There was a storm and lightning stuck about 2 meters away from us. It looked just like this, noone felt anything nor was hurt. Thanks for the upload
