On 8-15-2009 members of the Patriot Guard Riders, as well as friends and family, met 110 Marines returning from Iraq on route 152 in California near Interstate 5. From there they escorted them 110 miles to San Bruno and the waiting arms of their families and friends. Welcome Home Echo Company. Well Done.

  • Job well done Echo. I was part of Echo in 93-94. This homecoming is reminiscent of the one I got coming home from activation in 1991. I was part of Golf Company at the time. God bless.

  • @bschoenb Thanks for the comment. We met these guys out by I-5 and escorted them all the way back. They seemed to appreciate it.

And thanks for serving. It is a much bigger sacrifice than some think.

  • @motorcyclesafari we thought it was fuckin badass that you guys were our escort. Thanx

  • @77scapegoat We felt extremely honored to be able to provide that escort.

  • Great video. Gotta love those Marines. Just gotta.

  • LOL, I see Pang.

  • What an awesome video and the site of so many of our heroes coming home safely!

    Thank you!!

  • Where's Clinco?

  • I have had the honor of welcoming members of our armed forces home with some of the Patriot Guard Riders. The PGR are some of the most selfless, dedicated Americans I have had the honor to meet. If you haven't had the pleasure of hearing Spike speak to a returning soldier, you have missed something special.

I look forward to meeting and seeing many more of them at the 'Welcome Home' celebrations for other Echo Company marines later today, tomorrow, and in the future. SEMPER FI!!!

  • thanks to all the marines who served and are still serving
