Granada Reports, Monday 1st October 2001

After nearly 12 years off the air the Granada Reports name returned in October 2001 and at last the programme was behind the desk. This clip is from the first night of the new look programme.

Rob McGloughlin left soon afterwards and was replaced by the late Anthony H.Wilson, who also left after a year and Tony Morris has been presenter since.

I can't remember exactly when, but Granada were using it by December, Yorkshire I think were using it before then, and I think it took until 2002 for it to appear on LWT and Border.
