There is an instigator rule...if a player who wears a visor instigates a fight, there is also an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty levied in addition to the instigator.

There needs to be a penalty for fighting with your visor on. If I remember correctly, a bleeding player will be sent to the locker room for the rest of the period. Players tend to get cut if the other guy is wearing a visor in the fight.
