i was once swimming with one of those in the oceans in was scare with the 8 ft stinger

Yes - Im not sure if you can see it in this video but that stingray was also ready launch out of the water.
It was terrible to see - I talked with my mates about rescuing it - but not much we could do unfortunatley

An extra high tide or King Tide would have done it - I hope he was okay too poor thing! - after about 4 weeks he just wasnt there any more.
