*Update* For those wondering, the name of the song is called "Overwhelmed" and it's by Tim McMorris. I have linked to his Youtube channel below!

This short films follows two adventures about a month apart through the eyes of Ruben and Alex, a couple who travels the world once every 3 months and have done so since the first day they met in Bucharest, Romania. They've gotten to know each other in different parts of the world, while living apart for the time being. The story starts in Cancun, Mexico in November of 2011 and ends in Stockholm, Sweden in January of 2012. This is the 5th installment in the series - there are 4 other short films that chronicle the story of Alex and Ruben. It starts with "Girl Meets Boy" shot in September of 2010, followed by "When We Were Kids", "Wind of Change" and "Little Miss Sunshine in Jamaica".

  • What's the idea behind a short film like this? To hopefully get your work noticed by a Hollywood producer? I ask because that's a lot of time involved in making this. Is it just a hobby? Seems more than that with the amount of work you put in. It's very good what you did here... I'm just curious. So many short films on YT and I just wonder if anything becomes of them.

  • @ShelterDogs Actually, we went on vacation cause it was her birthday. I just captured some cool moments and put it together well. It didn't take as long as you make it out to be :) I live in Los Angeles, and I have my own production company, so, until I am ready to put all my eggs in one basket and make a feature film, these little shorts that I can share with a small or big audience will do :) Just interested in sharing my creativity and art with people. It's really that simple :)

  • @HollywoodBubbleInc Hey thanks for the quick reply. I didn't mean anything by that. It was a compliment to you. The fact that you have a production company explains things. I should've realized that. I subscribed to you a while back but forgot you.

  • @ShelterDogs Oh, no worries, it's a perfectly valid question. I just think people forget that the magic you see for 3 minutes on a video takes over 2 weeks to shoot and one week to edit into a perfect piece which ends up taking those 3 minutes from your attention :) It's all in the edit really....

  • I really liked this, this was nice. The reverse pouring of the drink messed me up pretty good for a few seconds though lmao.

  • @Rotastico ....and that was one of those cool shots that evolved when editing :)
