let me start this by saying that i like you, but this video has annoyed me. you don't feel to proud to ask random people to give you money, but you're above a government benefit scheme ? that doesn't make sense & yes it is snobby. swallow your pride. it's a legitimate scheme to help people progress.

@jenzatron Then, put ALL your passion into what you want to do. If you want your own business to succeed, then think like a capitalist & businessman. It may gall you to do so, but go for it with everything you've got. Put low self-esteem & self-doubt out of your mind. Once you go about it with passion, the rewards come by themselves.

Remember that using government funding is there to help. It's offering you an opportunity that I really hope you take. I'm sure it won't be instantaneous cash the moment you apply, so don't feel so guilty about going to visit your mom. This situation is just a stepping stone towards your future goals. I had to sign up for a few months between jobs and it sucked, I felt like a mooch. But when I started earning my own money again, I had a real sense of pride.

I see nothing wrong with getting outside funds. I don't see it as "e-begging" even I see it as presenting ur passion and talent and letting PPL of similar interest to aid u! And I say go for the government wage incentive to start up! I had the convo with Alex n his mom today abt how none of us have ever taken "hand-outs" but that I would in a second if I qualified! U shldnt feel guilty! At all! It's a step toward ur dreams! I say do it to it Jen!
