Locost Adjustable Front Suspension - Part 1 of 3 - Lower Control Arms

A simple approach to an adjustable front suspension for a locost sevenesque roadster . You can build a double wishbone suspension using off-the-shelf parts and nearly any donor with just a tape measure and this simple DIY process. The key to this solution is adjustability in those components that matter the most (and that you can realistically control).

Positioning the joint between the lower control arm tubes and the ball joint sleeve so that the center of the sleeve is colinear with the centerline of the tubes would provide more of a perpendicular surface area for welding the joint... I will certainly consider this approach if additional strength is required. Thanks for the idea!

The centreline of the tube should have met the centre node of the ball joint sleeve for added strength.
