patrol driver is more experienced... 80 series driver hugged the left and didnt keep the herbs coming as he was nearing exit, mometum was lost and the diff got hung up. Not the cars fault, it was driver error. 80 series are just as capable as patrols I would know Ive owned both. I currently own a GU. but I would have no hesitation in having a 80 series either.

Simple....Patrol LSD's work great....80 series are crap....so we shim the buggery out of em so they lock in.

The 80 has a fulltime 4wd and is deff engaged here in low range it was just too steep an exit for it as he got hung up on his front Diff.. And no I dont have a locker in the patrol just the factory rear LSD pushed me out of that one...
