let us continue to pray for the philippines. Read on, please. the following is an excerpt (based on what i recalled) from a very timely homily given by Fr. Joey Evangelista, mj, during his Mass at our chapel on 18feb08:
"A streamer in one school said: 'We are not pro-Lozada.' The point in the crisis that the country is in right now seem to have been missed in that streamer. It is not about Lozada versus our President. The focus of the crisis is whether the present government is what it should be: OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE. In today's Gospel reading (Lk. 6:36-38), Jesus reminds us to be compassionate and merciful as our Heavenly Father is. In the light of this Gospel passage, we are asked to reflect: is our government compassionate and merciful? Throughout the Old Testament as well as in Jesus' own example, God always took the side of the poor. Is our present government doing the same? In view of the many controversies that this government has found itself in, it does not seem to reflect that it is OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, nor is it truly compassionate and merciful enough especially to the poor."

Ano ba ang relihiyon mo? Sino ba ang Lord na tinatawag mo? Makasalanan man sa mata ng tao eh minahal ni Kristo Jesus at di nya pinangalanan ng kung anu-ano. Kung si Kristo ang Diyos at Panginoon mo, dapat sanay marunong ka ring magmahal ng kapwa mo sa halip na tawagin silang mga "ungas".

ang "vaccine" lang nito kundi ang ating mga sarili....

search for truth?...anybody who say something against their version of truth, they say it's a lie!...the only truth for them is their own version...they don't even want to hear anything against them...what kind of truth are you talkin about?...your own version or the real truth? if you want the real truth, go to supreme court. what if the courts find the truth that is against their version?...you have prejudged things and yet you are shouting for truth?..
