@Despatche (lelouch's "japanese name" is still lelouch, it just needs to conform to the rules of japanese somehow, so... "luluush lamperooj" really is what his name would sound like with appropriate Ls. ftr i know nothing about dubs or what they use.)
-
@PandorasGeass fyi japanese already has a "ch" sound, it's just not being used here, "sh" is used because that's how this particular "ch" is meant to be pronounced; "the l sound does not exist" is a bit misleading, what they use as an R is a combination of an R and an L so technically neither of them exist and there should be an entirely different character for this sound if you wanted to bring it to english

"Lelouch being awesome" isn't that sentence redundant?
-
@MSJjoshua Ahh. Okay. Thank you for letting me know. I don't know too much Japanese, so I'm still learning the ropes. ^^ Thank you!
-
@PandorasGeass Actually, there is a /ch/ sound in Japanese. The "ch" in "Lelouch" is correctly pronounced as a /sh/ sound. It's similar to "chef" and "porsche".
-
jaja yes yes m8, RURUCHHHHHH
-
In case you were wondering why Charles said "Rurushu", it's because in Japanese, the L sound does not exsist. So, that plus the ch being changed into a sh in Japanese, causes Lelouch's Japanese name being Rurushu. The same thing applies to Kallen, whom many people believe is Karen because that's how her name's pronounced in Japanese. When you think about it, it all makes perfect sense. Btw, Lulu is ALWAYS awesome. X3

The voice fits him perfectly imo

@69Bananas69 lol i know what u mean. its logic and factual.

you know, that title is kinda pointless, saying "lelouch being awesome" is the same as saying "water being wet" or something :p
