@FortNikitaBullion Tell your friends you need to be paid back. Be flexible about setting up payment plans. People who take advantage of you are not "friends."
-
@otmonna Accept the repayment. What message are you sending Money when you reject it?

@emazinglightsfan123 If you value your friendship, emazinglightsfan, come up with the twenty dollars to pay your friend.

I have this problem. A friend might ask me to loan them money, and I insist I want to give it as a gift but they keep insisting they want to pay me back, and it leads to the problems you just mentioned. Any solutions? I don't mind giving money, but I won't lend money.

I have a question. I have lent too much money to too many friends. I won't do it again. My question is how do I unwind the situation after the money is already lent, to ease the burdens between myself, the person I lent to, and the "money" character?

OK I will! Thanks!
How do we make the inner changes? I owe money but paid back all my other debts?

so what do you do when its ur brother and mother that owe you money ???...

@aschris87 That's a difficult situation, and even more rewarding to resolve. Most of our negative money issues come from our families, so any inner changes you can make that increase your self worth, your confidence, your healthy boundaries, and your compassion in these relationships will go even farther towards making you a money magnet.
Learn how to get paid back what is owed, with your brother and mother, and do it in a loving way that is empowering for all of you.

This is helpful, but what do you recommend if someone already owes money? I have one friend who owes me up to a $1000 and it's affecting the way I feel about our friendship. I've done eft tapping that has helped to relieve it because it releases the feeling of the debt owed so money can come in, but do you have any other suggestions? Thanks:)

@starkid77
You don't need EFT. You need to get paid.
What happens when you bring up the money your "friend" owes you?
Does this person make excuses? Is this person spending your money on other stuff (instead of paying you back?)
Or does this person set up a payment plan (say, $250 a month for four months) and keep his word?
If your friend isn't taking good faith actions to pay you back, show your money you care by taking your friend to small claims court (if you're in the United States.)
