hello.could you please tell me what type do you suggest for a begginer?a 4string or 5string?or maybe 6string becaouse i play guitar?..thank you very much..

It depends on what kind of music you want to play. Bluegrass, country and old-time use a five-string banjo. Irish, celtic, and Dixieland use a 4-string banjo. A six string is usually just a banjo body with a guitar neck attached. So you could play it right away, since it would be the same as the guitar, but it wouldn't really be playing the banjo.

Mannn, you make it look so easy....I"m a budding banjo player...novice if you will.
Do you have any tabulature for Banjo in the Hollow? If so , where might I pick it up?
Thanks again...

Our whole learning method is a by-ear method, therefore we don't use tab at all. I encourage you to get the DVD and try learning by ear. You might be surprised at how easy it is!
