i don't live in morcombe but i think this one persons cynical criticisms are too much. i live not far from morcombe though in blackpool and tourism just isnt what it once was either due to recession or the families going elsewhere because of the piss artist outings and poor maintenance by local councils. its a shame. southport, morcombe and blackpool are all in decline. they should all enter a joint venture to bring back the families to seaside resorts.

I no longer live in morecambe,but i can say that i lived many many happy years of my life there!I have millions of wonderfull memories of my old home town as a kid.A few facts for the man who made this!Im more than sure that most people in most places like to have a drink whenever they like!ALL DAY breakfasts have been going for a long time and can are served all over the country,And another point,there was never a shooting gallery at super kids speedway.There would be no eric morecambe without!

Ian Martin you are a complete DICK. Live here for a while understand who all the smackheads are and where there from. Bradford Liverpool Scotland all these places advertised in there local rags to come and spend there dole by the sea back in the 90S and they never left. Then you get all the migrete workers taking all the work. The cockle workers were here without work visa's rapeing our cockle beds for out of town gang bosses. And our council pumps all the money into near by Lancaster. U CUNT

I just came back from morecambe and it was extremely friendly and so relaxing, I have never been so relaxed and happy in a long time. It really is a beautiful place full of character and I was so sad to say goodbye to it
