I need someone to help me out here. I'm getting rid of certain types of music and videos games. Well I put a simple post on Facebook of saying that. I get a response on saying that I'm being self righteous, and that I'm doing things through works and that I'm being a snobbish church type. And this is from a fellow believer. The reason why I'm doing this is to grow closer to the Lord by getting rid of some of this junk in my life. Could someone please help me out here as to why she is saying this

@someoneforhim she probably feels like it is her righteous duty or something, who cares what they say, its not up to them to judge us. I know others who have done what you are doing and its amazing how their life has changed. What you're doing is the first step. Good on you and bad on that other person.
