Here I was gritting my teeth & praying she wouldn't suck because I was going to be honest in any regard. I don't like to hurt people's feelings, but I can't lie either. Imagine my surprise when she was unbelievably good. From the first "on key" note she had me -- sultry, seductive voice. Most importantly however beautiful control & sincerity. She didn't sing the song, she became the song & didn't have to force it. Her shy nature lends to her mystique. I'd for sure pay to see this lady live.

@AMERICASMANRONPAUL Oh my gosh. Just took your advice and listened to Laura. I can't say the last time I ran across such a voice. Crystal clear and pristinely beautiful. I listened to all the ones you recommended for starters, have subscribed and will go back again for more. Wow. And Not to worry. My Kate get a big head in our family?Not a chance - she's anchored well! LOL! Besides.Anytime you think you're good?Someone like Laura comes along and reminds you to keep reaching!

Tell her to check out Laura Broad on here as well. She's a fantastic singer from the UK who did a dedication for me for my brother who lost his baby several years ago. The song is Pie Jesu. She has a ton of great songs she does. My fave it Footprints in the Sand and Hurt.

@sleepoptimistic Thank you so much! She actually does have a good country voice as well, she loves music so her taste runs very wide, very deep and covers many decades.She has been writing her own stuff-there are some early ones here on youtube that I think are quite good and show promise - many more since then that are really good.For now, she'd just like to start singing jingles and doing demos for other writers to get experience in the studio.Thank you for the encouragement.

damn dude this is amazing, shes got an awesome voice...she should do alternative country...im sure shes familiar with genre, if not have her check out wilco...i would buy any record she would come out with, fo realz!!! shes got a powerful voice!!!..And attitude!! this is really good!, im subscribing and message me when she does another cover, she should collaborate if shes not comfortable with her own poetry yet. she could probably make money doing just covers like KARMIN did!
