I think lots of Inns and Motels (always) have elevators not in too good of a shape.

just like the rickety old Otis that used to be at the ft. Lauderdale Travelodge that I stayed at in '04. old otis hydraulic that had doors that screeched like fingernails on a blackboard, no level indicator, no phone or bell, and was overall a piece of shit. might've been a dover, but it didn't look like one.

I think this is the motel's fault for this elevator, since I saw Dover elevators from the 1980's in much better condition.
