2012 Starshot Championships at Grange Farm Sporting Clays

This year I was invited by John and Christine Bridges to film at the first Starshot final for 18 years. I had come across the Starshot at the British Shooting Show in early 2012 and John invited Tharek and I to have a go. I could see how addictive it was and I was keen to see others shoot it. Fortunately for me John took my number and offered me the chance to film his finals held at Grange Farm Sporting Clays. It was a fantastic weekend with practice on the Saturday followed by the final on the Sunday. There was some fantastic shooting on the day with superb performances put in by the finalists. The 2013 Starshot series kicks of on the Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th February 2013 at The British Shooting Show - Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LG.

If the prizes for 2012 are anything to go by it will be well worth entering. There was over £5000 worth of prizes with the top prize being a beautiful Browning 725 shotgun.

Not so lucky! But did find a good place to setup a hide. I guess it's the tool for the job. I worried i'd lose interest in airguns after getting a shotgun but it hasn't happened yet because there are a lot of places i can only use my air rifle.
