It's too slow to have 168hp.Max 110hp it have.

i clocked 180km/h no engine customizations....stock engine...loaded car 5 people and trunk full

The problem with a Golf is that it's heavier than an Ibiza. So a stock 110HP Ibiza goes faster on a straight line then a stock Golf Mk4 110HP.
Now I have A Golf Mk4 GTI and original it goes from 0-100 in 8 sec.
I shall make a vid of my tacho ;) so you can see the difference

It's a lot longer tan 8 sec.
Mine does it in 8.5 sec and is faster..

I'm defo going to get the 110 anyway. Remap it to around 130bhp for more econmy + speed when I need it.
What is your 0-60 speed?

What engine does it use? The 110 Golf one?

I expected more from a 4 motion with 168HP.

It's only 1.9 Diesel with 110HP. And it's A LOT quicker!

I do have a question, what was the original? 110bhp? I wanted to get the 90bhp version and wanted to know your opinions on it. What is the best I could get out of it if I fitted it with a chip?
Also, are they all the same engines? Just tuned by the OEM for higer HP... or are they all different?

the original was 150 hp and chiped about 170-180 hp...i think they are the same engines:-?? i dont know for sure;)
