I spent three months talking with Mormons. I have been a Free Mason for 4 years now, and Mormonism is just a rip off of Masonic rituals and symbols! Technically, atheists believe the statement "at least one god exists" is false. While theists believe the statement is true.

"I believe God doesn't exist" presumes monotheism. That's the problem with that definition.

If "God" is capital G, God. As in, the Christian God Yahweh, father of Jehovah. Then yes, Atheism means "I believe God doesn't exist."

A deist believes in god, but their god is not a theistic god.

If all of the types of theists, every religion/cult, were in a single room then your definitions would exclude a term for someone who disbelieves in all of their gods and decides not to conjure their own god.

I think you think atheist means "God does definitely not exist" But I disagree with that entirely. Atheist is "I do not believe in the gods of theists." Which means I don't believe Buddha is god. I don't believe Krishna is god. I do not believe Allah is god. I do not believe Jesus is god.
