@sonjalun Currently, I have no further questions, thank you. As I now decided to try the pen, I will make an injection schooling for it with the MS-nurse at my neurologist in a few weeks, when my present stock of the old prefilled syringes are exhausted. Wish you a good start to the weekend! :)

@Rabenfeder If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

@sonjalun Nothing to be sorry of. The important part (the visual one) is international. :)

@Rabenfeder Sorry that I made the video in Dutch, but i am happy to hear that it helps you to make a choice! Good luck!

Thanks for the video! I was just looking for exactly something like this to figure out if I should give the Pen a try. Not seeing the thinner and shorter needle while injecting will make the weekly shot (up to now done with the Avoject) a much lesser personal drama to me (needle phobia). So again, thanks for showing it! :)

Thank you for this video,i was looking on line for information about avonex pen and could not find anything relevant. I do have a question for you though... Why you don't aspirate needle when doing IM injection? I can see that this Pen injecting all medication directly into muscle and you are not able to withdraw a plunger to see if you hit a blood vessel.YOU SHOULD ALWAYS CHECK FOR BLOOD, i have no idea why biogen changed their policy, because back in 2003 they higly recommended aspirating...

@LucidDreamException Thank you for watching my video! Because of your very interesting comment, I asked other ms patients if they learned to withdraw before shooting. Some did, but most of them did not learn that. It seems that the chance that you inject into an vessel is minimal because the thicker vessels ore not at the surface (the pen has a much shorter needle). To make sure i'll ask my nurse and come back to you later!
