holy shit!!!, I thought this was a song by Los Shakers, a local group from the 60s, (I'm in uruguay), they achieved fame by dressing and playing like the Beatles, their own tunes (well, some covers too), but sounding very beatlesque. I can upload it in a few minutes......

What model turntable are you using? I wonder if my Marantz which hasn't turned in 20 years is still operable. Great posting. Thank you.

i listened to this in mono for years. when i heard it in stereo, i was so happy how much better and clearer and crisp it sounded in stereo.

Such a cool song from a great artist !! This is the good old days when music was simple !! Long live the memory of Del Shannon ! - G.L.54

I never knew that "We'll Follow the Sun" was officially part of the title of this song. When this was a hit song in 1964, one of my friends referred to this song by that title, but I always called it "Keep Searchin'", as it was called when it was played on the radio.
This blows away the CD version.....and it looks like a styrene pressing at that. Thanks Spencer!

Correct about the record being styrene. Styrene is ok, but it wears very badly if the stylus is worn. This record fortunately is mint!
Big reason for great sound is the mono mix, as well as the source being vinyl from the original analog master tape!
